Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering Goal for this season is $5,000 with a Glory to God Goal of $6,000. Please pray for the Lord's guidance in how to give to the cause of international missions. 100% of all money given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goes to overseas missions work.PRAISE THE LORD AND GLORY TO GOD... WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL...
But, Continue to Give so that the Gospel will continue to spread throughout the World.

The Missions Planning Team has approved prospective trips for 2008. Our goal is to provide missions opportunities for as many people as possible while promoting missions involvement in the Powhatan area, the Richmond area, Virginia, North America, and the Nations.

--Appalachian projects: home repair, food and clothing distribution, VBS, door to door evangelism
--MFUGE--youth trip to Philadelphia
--West Virginia Resort Ministry: Canaan Valley, WV
--New York: prayer walking and evangelism for strategic church planting planning in New York City
International Mission Board
--Serbia: Servanthood Evangelism Teams
--East Asia: Distributing Gospel materials to Chinese tourists
--Ukraine: VBS ministry
--Peru: Prayer walking in Lima, Peru
--North Africa: begin a prayer and ministry relationship with workers in North Africa among unreached people groups

New Policies Adopted
The Missions Planning Team unanimously adopted new Mission Trip Application Policies at our October meeting. These policies will aid in leading our decision making as we seek the Lord's guidance in choosing what trips to go on and who should go. You can get a copy of these policies from Pastor Brad.
Clothes for the Homeless
Thank you all for your generous donations to the clothing drive for the homeless of Richmond. Our trailer was filled. This will help so tremendously to keep many people warm. Come join us this winter to hand out the clothing.
